Machine overhaul

The inspection report acts as a guideline for the overhaul work. As a rule, overhaul work is carried out by a service engineer at the installation site. Depending on requirements and the customer's wishes, repairs are either carried out at the customer's premises or in-house.

Depending on the condition of the system, the forming machine is dismantled into its individual components, down to the machine body. Worn parts are then replaced, and surfaces and bore holes are reworked. Sometimes it is more effective to carry out overhaul work on the forming machine in one of the assembly plants. During this time, work can be carried out on the machine foundation, if required. Regular overhaul work benefits customers and lengthens the service life of their machinery.
