Used machine

The Hatebur HOTmatic AMP 30 is a robust and proven hot forming machine for the cost-effective series production of forged parts up to 64 mm in diameter and 700 g in net weight. The machine offered here comes from the Hatebur Test Center and was used exclusively for testing purposes and small production batches. Featuring various technical upgrades, it combines proven Hatebur mechanics with state-of-the-art control and process technology.

Operating Range and Technical Specifications

Detailed Description

The Hatebur HOTmatic AMP 30 is a proven hot forming machine with three forming stages for the cost-effective series production of forged parts with an outer diameter of up to approximately 64 mm and a blank weight of up to 700 g. With a production rate of 85 to 140 strokes per minute, it is particularly well-suited for the efficient production of high annual volumes.

The machine offered here was built in 1968 and was used exclusively at the Hatebur Test Center for testing purposes and small production batches. Over the course of its service, it has been technically adapted and modernized. As a result, it combines robust, proven Hatebur mechanics with modernized control and process technology.

Operating Range and Typical Applications

With bar diameters ranging from 18 to 40 mm, cut lengths from 20 to 72 mm, and a total pressing force of 2,300 kN, the AMP 30 covers a versatile operating range. Depending on the material, temperature, and forming process, it is suitable for, among other things:

  • Round forged parts up to approx. 64 mm outer diameter
  • Combination ring blanks up to approx. 55 mm
  • hexagonal parts up to approx. 56 mm wrench size
  • components for automotive and powertrain technology
  • other rotationally symmetric hot-forming parts

Thus, the operating weight, three forming stages, and production capacity are each mentioned only once, while the key technical data relevant to a prospective customer is retained.

Equipment and Upgrades

The AMP 30 has undergone technical adaptations and upgrades over the course of its service life. In addition to various mechanical modifications, it features, among other things, a modern Siemens control system and updated process monitoring.

The available scope of delivery also includes a bar heating system with a bar magazine, as well as other peripherals and accessories. For delivery within Europe, the machine can be adapted to meet current safety requirements.

We would be happy to provide detailed information on equipment, upgrades, peripherals, and the scope of delivery upon request.
