One Year at the Birsfelden Assembly Plant – Building on a Long Tradition

With the delivery of the last machine from Brugg, an era that stretched far back in time came to an end. For decades, Hatebur machines were assembled, refined, and shipped worldwide from that location.

Today, one year after the fresh start in Birsfelden, it is clear: The transition has been a success.

The new assembly plant has quickly established itself as an efficient and modern facility. The new infrastructure enables more efficient and safer processes, as well as ergonomic working conditions.

Another key advantage of the new location is its proximity to the headquarters. This promotes cross-departmental collaboration, speeds up decision-making, and increases efficiency in day-to-day operations.

The new location is also advantageous for the delivery of the first plant via inland waterway vessel. The port of Birsfelden is just a few hundred meters away as the crow flies.

The past twelve months have been marked by hard work, flexibility, and continuous improvement. We have overcome challenges together and used them as opportunities for growth.

This first year in Birsfelden thus symbolizes a successful transition from tradition to the future.
